The Media for Life (MFL) project started with a fundraising letter this past December. The idea was to put pro-life TV commercials in front of the age 12 to 22 viewing audience. These young women and girls are the ones who need help in time of trouble and especially since there is no parental notification required in Montana.

The commercials were bought from Michigan Right to Life and professionally made and put forth the pro-life message in a very subtle way. MRTL linked up with the national Care Net organization and their phone number is on the end of these commercials so our target group can call to get help.

The commercials are being shown on MTV, USA network, Nickelodeon, TNN and the show “Friends” throughout the entire state of Montana Monday through Friday. These are the networks these young women watch. The University of Montana and Montana State both have cable in their dorm rooms as they are also targeted with our commercials.

MRTL has also made our own commercial with the funds raised by this project. The commercial is the “Penalty” and compares the penalty for killing a bald eagle with the penalty for killing an unborn child. This commercial is being shown on Fox News, CNN and Lifetime throughout the state in the evening hours Monday through Friday. This commercial will help educate the older voting audience.

We are currently planning for expansion of these commercials to include NBC and the WB channel. Montana Right to Life needs your support to help us continue this project.
